Objectives: To develop the enhancement of Lanesboro, particularly the Shannon Banks and Amenity Area so that it will be more attractive for local residents and tourists alike.

Services: Information and booking office provided. Sponsors for Community Employment Scheme. The ‘Hot Water Stretch’ attracts fishermen from Ireland, England, France and Germany. The Local Fishing club hold an Annual Fishing Festival.
