Objectives: To promote the right of every deaf person to enjoy an equality of opportunity in all aspects of life, and to develop full independence and citizenship.
To promote the right of parents of deaf children to enjoy access to the full range of appropriate supports and services and to take an active role in their children’s education and development.

Services: Family Support Services – Social Work / Counselling service for all deaf and hard of hearing children, adults and their families.
‘Deaftech’ – Assistive Technology advice, assessment, demonstration and installation service.
Communication Support – Speed text, Lip Reading, Deaf Awareness Training, Training of Lip Reading tutors.
Employment Support Services – Interview preparation. Literacy Classes. Employee/Employer support.
Deafness Resource Centre, Irish Tinnitus Association Menieres Association Independent Living Advice.
Outreach Clinic at Longford Citizens Information Centre 1st & 3rd Tuesday of each month.
