Funding: Voluntary contributions – Christmas appeal. Bingo every Sunday night. Church gate collection every Sunday in Longford town.

Objectives: Caring for needy in County Longford.

Services: Cash grants to students whose grants have not come through. Christmas food hampers, gift vouchers, etc. Respite assistance for people caring for children with special needs. Basic home cleaning for elderly living alone. Helping families with food or nappies. Breakfast club in St. Michael's National School and hot lunches in St. Joseph's National School.

Special Services: Guarantee loans in the Credit Union for people who are in debt to money lenders. We act as Mediator between moneylenders, banks, building societies and people in debt. We deal with other emergencies such as serious illness or death.

Training: Provided from regional office, training videos and courses.
