Funding: Membership fees only.

Objectives: To promote best practices in bee keeping and maintenance of bees in the environment. To have a public apiary. Tree planting in Spring pollen-bearing trees.

Services: Classes for beginners on demand. Video library. Lectures throughout the year.
Collection of swarms - a charge is made for this service, as this is a very difficult and specialised operation.

Training: We run our own classes.
There is annual weekly training in Gormanstown College in July. Summer course: families can go to this boarding school to learn about Bee-keeping for 127 per week. For details ring 021 631011.
